Anthony Moresi appeared at CSUN 2007-2010 in the roles: Mr. Page The Merry Wives of Windsor (Nicolai), Le Fauteuil L’enfant et les sortilèges (Ravel), il notaio Gianni Schicchi (Puccini) and Dottor Bartolo Le Nozze di Figaro (Mozart) where he earned a Bachelor of Music, Vocal Performance studying with Dr. David Sannerud. Sang in the Bear Valley Music Festival 2007 Dr. Cajus in The Merry Wives of Windsor. Summer of 2008 he studied at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and performed with the AIMS orchestra in Graz, Freiburg, and Frohnleiten. At Moorpark College earned Associate of Arts degrees in Vocal Music Performance and Music Theory, studying with John Glenn Paton. In 2009 was the bass soloist for Moorpark College Symphony Orchestra’s presentation of the complete Handel’s Messiah.
Tony has most recently appeared exclusively in Gilbert and Sullivan operas over the past decade, credits include Samuel, Pirate’s of Penzance (2018) Florian, Princess Ida (2018), Antonio in The Gondoliers (2017), Sir Marmaduke Poindexter, The Sorcerer (2016), Dr. John Tannhauser in The Grand Duke (2012), Yeoman #2 in Yeoman of the Guard and as the Sergeant of Police in The Pirates of Penzance here at the Hillcrest Center for the Arts. He is thrilled to be part of the Arete Vocal Ensemble at Cal Lutheran and a member of the Los Robles Master Choral in the Conejo Valley.
