Soprano Penny Brady works as a Section Leader at Hollywood United Methodist Church, and is an occasional guest director at various local churches. She previously sang with Angeles Chorale, Santa Barbara Choral Society, Los Robles Master Chorale, and their small group, Eko. She holds a B.A. in Voice, a Single Subject Music Credential, a Master’s Degree in Education, and three additional teaching credentials. She currently teaches in the Conejo Valley.
Ms. Brady’s varied career includes many years as a session singer, extensive solo work in large churches, directing adult choirs, ensembles, and children’s choirs, and teaching voice. She taught as a college adjunct, recorded guide vocals for several choirs, and enjoyed playing Mary in the Glory of Easter at the former Crystal Cathedral. Penny is a published songwriter, and has worked as a music copyist and proofreader. She is always grateful to be singing.
